2019/2020 BRIC ArtFP Project Room Commission: HOAX
Last year, I was shocked to receive the 2019-2020 BRIC ArtFP Project Room commission. I am thrilled and honored to be included as their first virtual exhibition!
When the pandemic struck and personally struck me down, BRIC remained committed to honoring my creative work. I am so thankful to them. I am touched by the lengths taken to virtually recreate what would’ve have otherwise been. BRIC’s leadership and staff regarded me with such generosity, kindness, patience and care through the most painful and frightening days. Thank you!
In HOAX, I explore intersections of poetry (concrete, procedural, and lyric), interactive technology, mysticism and performance.
On May 26 at 5 p.m., I will be doing a Zoom-through and Q&A of the show~ So stay tuned, links forthcoming.
