Paper Magazine


I have been composing a litany of false starts—piece of paper, fragments, phrase, sentences formed then unholy halved, trapped in the nightclub of my mouth—fear finds its own course measure.

I wrote this piece for Paper Magazine about that farce of a vigil at Stonewall and the hypocrisy and disrespect in affording certain speakers the platform upon which they spoke. You know God don’t like ugly~
